Yesterday whilst the kids were playing I put together some lists. To do lists for the fall, the "spend money priority" list, the "who we haven't had over in a while and need to", the job lists, and lastly the "homeschool list". I had them pretty much done, and finally asked L what he wanted to learn this next year to add to my list. His list was this:
1) learn to make toast
2) learn to make salad
3) learn to tie shoes
4) learn "to say Staudinger 'cause it's a really hard word!"
I think we can handle that. He wasn't sure what to think when I told him that used to be my name and I had to say it and spell it very frequently.
