One of our favorite things to do as a family is to go to our local park right here in Kalama. Most times we just go for a walk or bike ride, or let the kids play, but sometimes we bring a picnic and eat there too. We feel so blessed to have such beauty and opportunity just 3 miles away from home. They have awesome log picnic areas. And lots to see and do (huge ships pass right by our very noses, and there's train tracks right on the other side, which makes certain boys pretty happy). We make it a regular place to go all year round and haven't gotten tired of it yet!
