If you'll notice, I have a new 'bling' on the side of my blog. It's a common saying these days, and I've been saying it to myself when things seem to be whirling out of control. It seems like my nerves just aren't what they were 10 years ago. The other night I couldn't even watch a surgery scene from the 60's mystery series Columbo. (where they didn't even show anything gruesome, just implied it!) Anyhow, the history of this saying is quite fascinating. I'll try to post the video here, but if it doesn't post, it'll send the link to YouTube and you can watch the video. You might also just find yourself saying to yourself (and perhaps encouraging others also), to just "keep calm and carry on!"
